Previously, I posted the summary of God's creation, as if I was searching for something. Never did I find the implication of His creative work until I intensely asked Him for it- to show me how to be prepared for the Sabbath rest. He then led me to the creation account and to use it for today's spiritual preparation and instruction. This is one of my best moments and experience with God, writing about the light He showed me a couple weeks ago. I wrote it with the help of my husband through the Holy Spirit. Now, I want to share it with you to see if this will help you in your preparation towards the Sabbath celebration.

Rest (most needed at this time), is one of the messages tied in it. He wants us to be fully and properly rested not just on the Sabbath but everyday during the week towards the the Holy day of God. Unwanted stress and distractions, make us forget what matters most.

Today, I did not ask God to give me a week-long break from work, but He did. He is giving me this week to share with you the spiritual message behind God's six days creation, for daily preparation towards perfect rest and Sabbath celebration. It will properly prepare you and help you rest throughout the week. Daily, I will share with you. But since the first day has gone, I will post here, the first and the second day message.

We are so grateful God has shown us how His love works through His 6-day creation. It happened during our weekly camp and spiritual retreat where God led me and my husband to encounter and experience Him as the pandemic ends. Also, with thankful hearts for saving both our lives from the destructive Covid-19. Hopefully, it won't happen again while you and I, are making connections to Jesus, the author of faith and love, and the creator of the universe.

We know that in the very beginning, God created and founded the earth. That was because of His great love for us. But what is its implication and relevance to today's spiritual preparation? Here's the 6-day challenge towards Sabbath rest.

On day one God created the light. In Genesis 1:3 (NASB), God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. (4) "... God separated the light from the darkness." He separated them for distinction.

God saw that it was good. He called the light, Day; and the darkness, He called Night. There was morning and there was evening, that was day one that He created the light.

He started His preparation on day one. As the light existed, there was a significant thing that had happened. It left an impression on the minds. He made clear the distinction between the light and the darkness and He separated them from each other as Day and Night. Is one more important than the other? No. Both are important to life as the day is not complete without night.

Don't we have the light and darkness of character in ourselves? This tells us that Christ-like character and defects contribute to the whole aspect of man. As humans, we have the tendency to error because no one is perfect except Christ. But we need to examine both and be aware of where you're at. Which one are you working on? Look at self, what you need to work on?

Preparation is composed of 3 aspects: home, physical and spiritual which involves body, mind and soul. Have you done with the day's task at home and workplace, what do you need to work on for your character development? Jesus is needed to construct a good plan.

On day two God created the sky. He spoke, "Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."

Water could be us, connected to Jesus, the living water. But He is higher than us, so he created the firmament between Him and man so we could look up to Him. Although we are separated from Him, He wants us to look toward Him and allow the Holy Spirit to connect us and realize that we need the living water to sustain us. So, it's a spiritual concentration of focusing on Jesus that day. We need to focus on Him for our substance and realize in ourselves that as a priority, all that we need is Jesus, our living water. He made that day spiritual for us so we can work on our characters through the Holy Spirit. He is extending to us the living water through the Holy Spirit. When He created the world, it was already in His plan. So, in focusing on God the living water, we are receiving the Holy Spirt and allowing Jesus to mold us.

Talking about our spirit, how are we going to get nutrients? Who is our substance? What is He doing to work on our characters?

Day 3

On day three God created the land He called earth; the gathering of waters called seas, and every kind of plant, herb, seed, and fruit trees for food.

The gathering of waters called seas, and the land is seen. These two go together but He wants to make sure we are not attached to the ways of the world that’s why He separated the waters from the land.

The land and every kind of plant, herb and all kinds of trees for food. God provided us with food, healing for the body, mind and spirit. But the whole message here is to plant a seed. To who? That day, God wanted us to pray, to send us someone to pray for, and to plant a seed on them for Jesus. Witnessing, sharing. We need to connect to someone to pray, counsel and share with. Plant a seed. Our health needs a missionary spirit; not to preach but to plant a seed of love. To prepare the soil by praying, and God will help plant a seed through His Word, the Holy Spirit. "Let food be thy medicine; and medicine be thy food." That day God has already shard with us the importance of Health. Today, it is still the message. So, true love was already there. Love that is not self seeking but for someone in need.

and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well" -- but then you don't give that person any food and clothing. What good does that do? James 2:16 (NLT)

Read for yourself, Genesis 1:14-19. Watch for His spiritual message on the fourth day of creation.

Day 4

Psalms 43:3 (ESV) - Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!
