On day four God spoke lights into existence and placed them in the expanse of the heavens- the sun, moon and stars, to make a separation between the day and the night.
That day, He made the lights even at night so it's not totally darkness. We need to realize spiritually that no matter how dark and how we fail in our character, Jesus is always providing us with a solution and light. He is always there for us, in good or bad times, failure and success. He is always with us when we are strong or weak, high or down. We need to realize that God is still with us. The night is not totally darkness because God put light so we can always see Him even with tears through pain and suffering. We can still see Him even in the storm. Behind the clouds you should still see Him. Even with small light He is there.
Sometimes our character can be dealt with in a season. Other times, it takes years to refine the character. Be aware that the Spirit will give or show you signs in order to guide you. Some responsibilities can be done as quickly as possible but when it comes to the inner part of us, the spirit, it's a process through the Holy Spirit.
There should be spiritual preparation too. We already have physical work we do in the home to sustain the home. We need to do those responsibilities to keep up things but we need to concentrate daily, spiritually in everything we do or, along with the physical. We need to be preparing for the bigger task spiritually.
We don't want to be in a spiritual rush, "Oh I need to prepare my spirit- to forgive and repent. It takes a period of time to prepare spiritually... to meditate and pray."
So, how good is your character? What will it be if I wait til the last day of the Sabbath to prepare my spirit? How would we be willing to sustain? How will I concentrate and focus?
for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8, (ESV)
Day 5 -
Genesis 1:20-23 (NLT)
Then God said, "Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind."
So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird--each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.
Then God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth."
And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day."
Like a balloon, you fill in with air, it starts to float and rise up above the sky. That's how God designed life. He created us with a brain to reason, to think and to be creative, intelligently and wise.
Now, with the resources He provided, He filled us with His wisdom, strength and humility. And, with the wing of faith, we can soar like eagles up above the heights with His love.
There is no limit to His grace but he instructed us to believe, share, and multiply His love. Get wisdom and understanding. Dream, desire, and live life to the fullness of God through Christ.
Do you have something God impressed you to share?
Day 6
Imagine The World Without You
Everything the world has, except you. Would it be good and perfect?
God created us perfectly in His Image. Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, "Let us make man... "
But know that He created the animals and beasts that creep on the ground, first. Then, finally, He created us out of the dust, standing up tall with a soul. He breathed into the nostrils in order to live. He created us with an amazing brain that think and reason, and a heart with the emotion that feels and cares. Most of all, He gave us the magnificent Mind of Christ, with His power so we can do the impossible with Him and through Him.
Humility is the key- to put others first, then you (Animals in Acts 10 represents the people of all races), accepting that others were created first before you. Didn't God say, "Love God, and others, as yourself?"
The best thing is that, we are entrusted as stewards and rulers of the resources and all living creatures. He gave us the best food so we can live as long as He lives.
"But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his".
Job 12:13 (NLT)
Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Proverbs 2:2 (NLT)
I absolutely love this thought, "The night is not totally darkness because God put light so we can always see Him even with tears through pain and suffering. We can still see Him even in the storm. Behind the clouds you should still see Him. Even with small light He is there." Amen! Thanks for sharing this with us, Susan.
