Fall Into Writing:
As the weather cools off and fall is upon us, the leaves display different colors and begin to fall. This shows God's great Love.
Let love be your season and your reason to live!
It was a creative season. I believe it was summer so it was perfect weather for both of them. Or, the garden of Eden is located near, or at the center of the equator like Hawaii, Caribbean, Philippines and other tropical countries where the weather is nice and warm at all times.
They were naked but there was no need for clothes for God’s glory covered them. Nobody really knew because during creation, everything was blossoming and the trees were always green. There was no rain during that time so it was not spring or fall. Rain did not come until later, I guess in different parts of the world.
Eden, I believed was in the tropical zone, the center of the south pole and north pole because there was no winter there. The cycle of seasons was already determined by God. When He created everything during creation, He set it in motion where the four or five seasons were already part of it. He must have started it in the summer, so it would be from summer, fall, winter and spring. But it could be winter in the other part of the world. Why did God create the seasons?
In the winter, what can you grow? Nothing. So, the land rests, like sleeps. The earth could replenish itself, and the land would rest. Rest, if it is essential for the land, how much more for man? What does God say about rest and preparation? It was part of their life, in the beginning. He instructed us to rest in Him in the proper way and time.
Then in spring they plant. It was in the Bible when they were working in the fields. How about winter, who would like it when it’s too cold? Have you noticed what happens to the land during winter? You might not like it when it’s too cold, you could get sick of the weather, you couldn’t get out anytime you want. Others may love it, no matter what the weather is. Some see it filthy and muddy with melted snow and dust. But do you see the love behind it all?
Christ, when He covers us with His righteousness and grace when we become gross with sin, looks like when the snow and sleets of ice pours down overnight and in the morning, you see white snow blankets the place. Can you see something else that would appreciate what God has created for the good of His creatures?
It may not be good for the animals, it causes them to die from extreme cold but that was just the result or the consequence of sin Adam and Eve had done when they were in the garden of Eden. At least, after the harsh winter, it helps us see when the flowers start to bloom and trees regrow with changing colors. It helps us appreciate what God has done for us.
Summer is much appreciated after the winter. However, those in the places near the equator, only God knows why they don’t have winter or spring. But having them as part of the seasons, gives us an experience with God’s grace.
As the spring comes, even before it comes, it lifts us up and gives us hope for a brighter tomorrow. Then it rains to water the earth again from a long drought or to water the fields. People need it to water the land and the fields and to grow plants. Water is life. It was there from the beginning of time, as the Word. God just designed it as He fashioned the earth with everything we needed.
I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. Leviticus 26:4
