In the very beginning of time God created a perfect world through His Word. The earth was dark and void and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the waters. God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that it was good. Now there was light He called Day, and the darkness, He called Night. There was morning and there was evening, that was day one that He created light.

On day two God created the sky. He spoke, “Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”

On day three God created the land He called earth; the gathering of waters called seas, and every kind of plant, herb and tree for food.

On day four God made lights and placed them in the expanse- the sun, moon and stars.

On day five God filled the seas with the living creatures and the winged birds above the earth in the sky, and saw that it was good.

On day six God created all kinds of animals and the people, male and female. God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, to rule over them." And God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it." God saw that everything that He has made was very good. There was evening, and there was morning, on day sixth.

So, God created the heaven and the earth in this order: the light; the sky; the land, sea and all kinds of trees and plants; the sun, moon and stars in the sky; living creatures of the sea and sky; and all kinds of animals and people, male and female, He created them. Everything was completed, and He rested on the seventh day.

The Life in Paradise

Imagine a world without you and me. If nobody is there, who will appreciate its beauty? But God is perfect! He knew exactly what is needed so in His plan He created the first man and woman in the garden of Eden. Everything was beautiful and perfect. But the question is, "Did they live happily ever after? Did God give them the whole world? What happened next?
